Blockchain infrastructure firm Smooth Labs closes $2M seed round led by NGC VenturesAccording to The Block, blockchain infrastructure startup Smooth Labs has completed a $2 million seed round of financing led by NGC Ventures, with participation from Cogitent Ventures, ArkStream Capital and Ian Balina’s Token Metrics. Smooth Labs will launch a testnet in Q3. Smooth Labs, founded by Wei, a former early-stage researcher at Celestia, and Lucie Chen, a former founding partner at cryptocurrency investment firm LCC Ventures, is building blockchain infrastructure focused on parallel execution of transactions.
